AHEPA 501 Apartments (a non-profit organization) - Danny Leza, Property Manager, writes: We are a low-income housing for seniors 62 and older, we are funded by HUD and I cannot get funded for computers. I have been trying for a year and I have had no success, so now I am seeking elsewhere. I have several seniors who need to find out more on their medication (side effects, cautions, etc.) most of my seniors do not drive, and the ones who do come to me for mapquest and find driving directions, some like to read the news and keep in touch with their families outside the NM area. I already have a senior who is willing to teach a computer class and without computers she cannot do anything, please help.
Seeking Pentium 4 (or better) PCs, but earlier systems would be sufficient as long as they are capable of internet access. If you can help, please email Mr. Leza or phone 505-836-9487

Acupuncturists Without Borders - Acupuncturists Without Borders began in 2005 after hurricanes Rita and Katrina and the subsequent flooding hit New Orleans. We sent volunteer acupuncturists to provide free community style treatments to victims, evacuees, first responders and aid workers. We now work to provide training to acupuncturists all over the United States to respond to disasters. We also serve US Veterans by helping to establish free community acupuncture clinics with sixteen currently in operation. As a fledgling organization we have just recently received the funding to move into an office and are in need of computers for our support staff. We will use them to coordinate operations, provide training material and support to our veterans.
Seeking Pentium IV PCs (or better) and G4/G5 Macs. If you can help, please email Ms. Leah Albin or phone 505-266-3878
