Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove Elementary - April Bowles - 5th Grade Teacher, writes: I teach 5th grade mathematics at Cedar Grove Elementary school in rural Kanawha County. Sixty percent of our student population is on free or reduced lunch via federal programs. I emphasize teamwork and my students work and sit together at learning center tables which contain all of their materials, manipulatives, and supplies. What is missing is the 21st century technology - a notebook computer. I would like to request 5 notebook computers with wireless capabilities so that each of my student teams will have immediate access to information and tools needed for 21st century skills. I would also like to request a LCD projector to connect to my personal notebook computer to improve instruction delivery. If anyone is replacing an electronic whiteboard that would be awesome too.

Seeking Pentium IV, or better PCs and LCD projector. If you can help, please email Ms. Bowles or phone 304-836-8243

East Fairmont

East Fairmont High School

Ken Hibbs writes: I have been teaching a college algebra class to high school seniors for two years. A majority of the class has to be completed using computers. Tests, quizzes, and lab activities require a computer. Trying to compete for the computer lab is frustrating. I need laptops for my classroom. I am seeking 20 laptop computers with Pentium IV or higher and with windows XP. If you can help, please e-mail or call 304-612-3199
